Huddle Veteran Housing hold a deeply personal place in our hearts.Our mission is rooted in the life and legacy of a man who meant everything to our family, our dad, David Frasier.A proud Navy veteran, he served our country from 1976 to 1995 with unwavering dedication and pride.Some of our most cherished memories are of him sharing his stories, often on repeat about his time in service, the brotherhood he built and the honor he felt wearing his uniform.You could hear it in his voice every time, serving his country wasn't just something he did, it was a part of who he was.
In 2023, we lost him to a cancer connected to his service, caused by exposure to uranium in the radio room aboard his ship. He had fought it once before and lived with the lasting effects, never seeking sympathy, just continuing to live with strength, humility, and grace. Because of him, this work is more than a mission, it's personal. It was our way of honoring his life, his sacrifice, and the sacrifices of so many others like him. We are committed to serving veterans with the same love, respect and care that he deserved. It is truly an honor for us to give back to those who have given so much.
